Privacy Policy

Puro is a camera app designed to capture photos with minimal processing. We built Puro with a privacy-first approach and limit data collection to what is necessary to operate the app, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Puro, we may collect the following:

  • Account information, such as your email address or account identifier, if you create an account.
  • Subscription and billing information needed to manage purchases and access to paid features. Payment details are processed by Apple or your payment provider — not by Puro directly.
  • Diagnostic data, such as crash logs and performance information, to help us identify and fix technical issues.
  • Support communications and any information you choose to include when contacting us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos for advertising.

3. Photos and Camera Data

Your photos stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them. Puro does not upload your photo library by default.

If Puro requests access to your camera or photo library, that access is used only to provide the feature you are using. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iPhone Settings.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Deliver app functionality and subscription access.
  • Process purchases and restore entitlements.
  • Diagnose issues and improve app performance and stability.
  • Respond to support requests.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party providers to help operate Puro, including services for subscription management, crash reporting, and customer support. These providers may process limited personal information only as needed to perform services on our behalf.

Examples may include:

  • Apple, for App Store purchases and subscription billing.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain support records. Diagnostic data is kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting and service improvement.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If you have an account in Puro, you can request account deletion at any time, and we will remove your data except where retention is required for legal or operational reasons.

8. Permissions

Puro may request access to your camera, microphone, or photo library to enable specific features. You can withdraw these permissions at any time in your device Settings. If you opt out of certain permissions, some features of the app may not be available.

9. Children's Privacy

Puro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
